Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.


Job Description

We are looking for Infrastructure Engineer with French to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our French clients.

Working hours: 8:00–18:00.

Please note that we can only offer cooperation to candidates located in Poland who are willing to commute to our office in Katowice.

Tech stack: OS Windows, RedHat,CentOs, Ubuntu, SLES, HP, Portail IaaS, Portail XaaS, Portail CALv2, Portail Jenkins, Portails Openshifts de Build et de RUN, Tufin, Kibana, vSPHERE, VROPS, Confluence, Grafana, Service Now (SIO), GLPI, Calipso, Gitlab, DDI, JIRA, CMDB, Cisco ACI, Reporting ITAAS

Responsibilities:​

  • Manage and maintain external and internal network traffic flows, ensuring security, performance, and availability
  • Administer ITaaS environments, including creation, configuration, and ongoing modifications of services
  • Perform certificate lifecycle management (issuance, renewal, revocation, and compliance)
  • Create, update, and maintain DNS records, ensuring proper name resolution and system connectivity
  • Oversee Virtual IP (VIP) management, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Support and maintain legacy environments, ensuring stability and compatibility with current systems
  • Manage ITaaS access rights and authorizations, ensuring appropriate user permissions and compliance with security policies

Qualifications

Must have requirements:​

  • 2+ years of commercial experience in a similar position
  • Very good knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux distributions: RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES)
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and system administration concepts
  • Very good command of French (min. B2) – daily communication with the client
  • Experience with network-related services (e.g., DNS, traffic flows, load balancing)
  • Knowledge of access management and security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, certificates)
  • Ability to work with both modern (ITaaS) and legacy environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and regular visits in our office in Katowice (3 days per month)
