As an IT Strategist, you will play a crucial role in aligning IT strategy with business objectives to achieve impactful results. Your strategies will be guided by comprehensive IT roadmaps, optimised infrastructure, and cutting-edge solutions that leverage data analytics for informed decision-making across departments. Staying up to date with emerging technologies that drive value is vital to delivering strategic success in this role. Your forward-thinking approach and comprehensive expertise empower global and local businesses to enhance operational performance and secure a competitive edge, all while ensuring that these advancements are underpinned by robust cybersecurity measures.

For our clients to make the most of the software solutions they’ve purchased, our Product Owners must understand and anticipate their wants and needs. Working between clients and internal teams means you’ll need good communication skills and take the long view when it comes to strategic planning, all the while making sure all details align with the client’s specifications. Taking a proactive approach means using original thinking to identify client needs and gleaning insight from complex client interactions. Meeting client needs may involve a larger than usual workload and your ability to manage it will be just as crucial as your ability to exercise analytical thinking and solve problems as they arise.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent experience
• Experience: 3-5 years,
• Languages: English required, French is a plus.

You have knowledge and experience of the following:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Service Owner in a similar context. 

• Proven experience in developing or managing services tailored for developers. Ability to ensure that the strategic objectives and product definitions of developer-focused services are aligned with the developers' vision and needs. 

• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. 

• Development or Services for Developers experience:  make sure the strategic objectives and product definitions of the service oriented towards developers align with their vision and needs. 

• Strong understanding of public cloud basics (AWS). 

• Strong understanding of Gitlab and Bitbucket products. 

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/SAFe process and principles. 

• Good understanding of DevOps or DevSecOps principles. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

• Familiarity with public administration processes and requirements is a plus.
