Senior Business Consultant Mobility

We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant with expertise in mobility and knowledge of the Belgian public sector. You will advise leading mobility organisations — including FOD/SPF Mobiliteit, MOW, AWV, De Lijn, Lantis, NMBS/Infrabel, MIVB/STIB — on digital transformation, operational excellence, data strategy, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consulting assignments across mobility: ITS, smart roads, multimodal transport, and infrastructure funding.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, process mapping, gap analysis, and develop recommendations, roadmaps, and business cases.
• Support clients in change management, digitalisation, and data governance.
• Contribute to business development: proposals, tenders, client networking, and sector events.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants; build team knowledge and capabilities.
• Maintain and develop expertise in digital mobility, EU regulations, and Belgian mobility policy.

Required Skills & Experience

• ≥6 years professional experience, with ≥4 years in consulting/advisory roles in Belgian public sector mobility.
• Knowledge of Belgian mobility institutions (FOD/SPF Mobiliteit, MOW, AWV, De Lijn, Lantis, NMBS/Infrabel, MIVB/STIB, Brussels Mobility).
• Understanding of ITS standards (DATEX II, NeTEx, SIRI, GTFS), MaaS ecosystems, smart roads, and mobility data platforms.
• Strong business analysis, process mapping, and business case development skills.
• Experience in presales, proposals, and Belgian public procurement.
• Professional Dutch and/or French; English working knowledge. Bilingual (NL/FR) a plus.
