Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.


Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer with French to drive the design, governance, and delivery of complex automation solutions across enterprise environments. This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, operational oversight, and team management responsibilities, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable automation services aligned with business and customer objectives. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex automation solutions leveraging enterprise automation platforms, ensuring alignment with business and customer requirements. 
  • Manage studies, technical assessments, project planning, providing accurate effort, cost, and risk estimations. 
  • Oversee project delivery and operational activities, ensuring compliance with SLAs, quality standards, security requirements, budgets, and timelines. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and stakeholders, participating in governance meetings, solution reviews, and pre-sales activities, including proposal development and solution scoping. 
  • Ensure governance of quality, security, data integrity, and compliance while driving continuous improvement of operational processes and automation practices. 
  • Lead, organize, mentor, and develop technical teams, fostering knowledge sharing, professional growth, and a high-performance work environment. 
  • Collaborate with architects, transformation teams, vendors, and third-party partners to evaluate technologies, validate solution approaches, and drive innovation initiatives. 
  • Monitor operational and project risks, manage escalations and incident response activities, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize infrastructure, automation capabilities, and service delivery performance. 

Qualifications

Must have requirements: 

  • Strong knowledge of advanced automation platforms and technologies. 
  • Expertise in designing and delivering complex automated solutions. 
  • Experience in project studies, work package definition, and solution planning. 
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, operations, and service management. 
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, governance, and security frameworks. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement skills. 
  • Understanding of SLA-driven service delivery and operational governance. 
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams. 
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proactive and detail-oriented. 
  • Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively. 
  • Very good command of French & English (min. B2) – daily communication with the client. 
  • Being open to occasional business trips abroad and regular visits in our office in Katowice. 

Nice to have requirements: 

  • TOGAF (or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification). 
  • ITIL v4. 
  • Additional certifications in Automation, Cloud, Security, or Infrastructure Architecture are considered a plus.
