Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Experienced JIRA consultant having experience in the product and managing the entire lifecycle.
  2. Act as the SPOC for JIRA with business and product owners to ensure the JIRA environment is maintained and solutions provided for the products.
  3. Support in building of SOPs for the team members on the JIRA and the plugins.
  4. Help develop training materials for the business and technical teams for the usage of JIRA.
  5. Establish JIRA best practices and framework ensuring smooth services and management of the environment.
  6. Plan for patching, upgrade and disaster recovery plans for the whole JIRA systems.

Technical Skills:

  1. Having experience of JIRA administration along with associated products like Confluence, etc.
  2. Experience on Jira Query Language (JQL).
  3. Integration experience using APIs and act as POC for designing and implementation for any integration needs.
  4. Having expertise in Automation for JIRA and ability to automate workflows.
  5. Ensuring governance in Users, Roles, groups and projects is well established.
  6. Experience in Agile, SCRUM methodologies to implement it in JIRA for the customer.
  7. Maintain the high availability of JIRA instance for the end users.
  8. Experience with Xray and Zephyr Scale for test and release management.
  9. Experience in DevOps framework and tools for building CI/CD pipelines.
  10. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Project Management and Agile methodologies.
  11. Experience or knowledge on EazyBI, YEST and UFT would be a plus.

Professional Skills:

  1. Strong leadership skills and ability to connect with business users for requirement gathering.
  2. Excellent command on communication including both written and verbal to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  3. Problem solving attitude and experience in handling complex issues.
  4. Should have coaching and mentoring experience.
  5. Able to suggest innovative ideas for provide solutions to the business users.

Certifications:

  1. Atlassian Certified Professional Jira Administrator
  2. Scrum Master and Product Owner certification(preferred)

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years

BE/Btech/MCA
