Job Description

  1. Provide L2/L3 support for applications hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and system availability.
  3. Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure components such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Load Balancers, and Auto Scaling.
  4. Deploy applications and services to AWS using automated deployment tools and pipelines.
  5. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable release cycles.
  6. Monitor system health and performance using tools like CloudWatch / Datadog, and proactively address issues.
  7. Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
  8. Optimize infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and resource utilization.
  9. Ensure adherence to security best practices, including IAM roles/policies and data protection mechanisms.
  10. Support backup, disaster recovery, and environment restoration activities.
  11. Automate routine tasks using scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform/CloudFormation).
  12. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and deployments.
  13. Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  14. Stay updated with latest AWS services, DevOps practices, and industry trends. 

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years


Qualifications

  1. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
  2. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
  3. Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
  4. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK, etc.).
  5. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  6. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS is a plus).
  7. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving production issues.
  8. Understanding of DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and version control systems (Git).
  9. Good communication and collaboration skills.
