Job Description

Join our Data & AI team.

You will join a multidisciplinary Data & AI team that helps clients turn AI ambitions into clear, value-driven initiatives. Working closely with colleagues across data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance and visualization, you will help identify opportunities, align stakeholders and translate business challenges into practical AI initiatives.

As an AI Analyst, you act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data teams and AI specialists. You help organizations move beyond AI ambition and identify where AI can create tangible business value.

You facilitate discovery workshops, identify and structure AI opportunities, assess business value and feasibility, and translate business challenges into clear AI requirements. You work closely with business stakeholders, Management, AI Architects, AI Engineers, Data Engineers Scientists and other specialists to help clients make informed decisions about where and how to invest in AI.

You support clients throughout the early stages of their AI journey by assessing AI and data maturity, evaluating data readiness, building business cases and helping prioritize AI initiatives.

You are capable of translating complex AI concepts into accessible business language while also helping technical teams understand business objectives, constraints and success criteria. You know the difference between traditional AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI.

You also help clients identify governance, compliance and organizational considerations related to AI adoption, including data quality, responsible AI practices and regulatory requirements such as GDPR and the EU AI Act.

Qualifications

We're looking for an AI Analyst who combines strong analytical capabilities with a consulting mindset. You are able to translate business ambitions into actionable AI opportunities and guide stakeholders towards value-driven decisions.

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following:

  • At least 4 years of experience in business analysis, data & analytics, consulting, product owner or a similar role.
  • Proven experience defining AI roadmaps, translating business needs into functional, analytical or AI-related requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, presentation skills and workshop facilitation.
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing business opportunities and transformation initiatives.
  • Experience building business cases, value estimates, and feasibility assessments.
  • Understanding of AI capabilities and use cases, including Traditional AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI.
  • Understanding AI and data maturity assessments and data-readiness concepts.
  • Awareness of AI platforms, data platforms, and the broader AI ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI principles and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and the EU AI Act. Any industry specific regulatory framework is a plus.
  • Understanding organizational change management and AI adoption strategies is considered a plus.
  • You are proficient in English, and in Dutch or French.

What we can offer you

At Sopra Steria, you'll join our Data Science & AI practice within the Data & AI team: a group of consultants helping organizations identify, prioritize and realize value from Data & AI investments.

Our work spans AI strategy, use-case discovery, value assessment, governance, operating models and AI transformation. We help organizations understand where AI can create impact, how to prioritize opportunities and how to build the foundations required for sustainable adoption.

You'll grow your expertise in AI strategy, AI governance, stakeholder management, business consulting and value-driven transformation. You'll do this in a collaborative team where knowledge sharing, coaching and continuous learning are central to the way we work.

As part of Sopra Steria, you'll also benefit from strong career development opportunities, both locally and internationally, supported by the Sopra Steria Academy and a wider network of more than 51.000 professionals.
