Job Description

The Spare Part Management Officer will play a pivotal role in managing and ensuring the availability of spare parts and components. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work independently while liaising closely with our customer (one of Europe's largest aeronautics and space company) and their teams. Below you can see the key responsibilities:

Spare Part Management

  • Extract and process data from SAP, including part number (PN), serial number (SN), descriptions, etc.
  • Transfer aircraft component information into the “Maintenance Data System” for timely maintenance activities.
  • Generate and upload component updates in XML
  • Track spare parts data, including flight hours and landings
  • Collaborate closely with both our customer and their teams
  • Monitor the progress of parts for timely uploads and to ensure mission readiness

Problem Solving & Issue Resolution

  • Address data accuracy issues to prevent upload delays or errors
  • Proactively resolve potential problems impacting operations

Work Environment

  • Work independently, maintaining high levels of detail and accuracy
  • Liaise with our customer and their teams to ensure smooth operations
  • On-site presence required daily in Steenokkerzeel
  • Working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following: 

  • Communication Skills: Effective collaboration and clear communication abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Excel and XML. Familiarity with IT systems is a plus. Basic airspace knowledge is advantageous. Knowledge of VBA coding (improve process automation) not required but highly valued.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to address MDS system issues.
  • Independence & Accuracy: Ability to work autonomously with high precision without direct supervision.
