Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Self-motivated professional with a strong track record on the ServiceNow platform, delivering medium to complex solutions.
  2. Lead development and customization of Service Portal, UI Builder, and Workspace experiences.
  3. Design and develop custom UI components (Now Experience Framework) for Agent Workspaces.
  4. Build responsive, user-centric interfaces using UI Builder, components, data resources, and client scripts.
  5. Translate business requirements into scalable portal and workspace solutions.
  6. Develop and maintain reusable custom components, widgets, and UI frameworks.
  7. Work on CSM and ITSM module implementations with focus on enhanced user experience.
  8. Perform instance upgrades and patching across multiple environments.

Technical Expertise:

  1. Strong proficiency in JavaScript (client & server-side) and ServiceNow scripting.
  2. Hands-on experience with:
  3. Service Portal (widgets, AngularJS, theming)
  4. UI Builder & Now Experience Framework
  5. Custom component development (Web Components / Now UI Framework)
  6. Expertise in ServiceNow APIs, Glide APIs, and platform capabilities.
  7. Strong experience in Integrations (REST/SOAP, Integration Hub) (must-have).
  8. Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
  9. Experience with ATF, Flow Designer, and Virtual Agent integrations.
  10. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Stakeholder Management:

  1. Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into intuitive UI/UX solutions.
  2. Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, architects, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience:

  1. Experience working on MSP-based (multi-tenant) ServiceNow instances.
  2. Exposure to end-to-end UI/UX transformation initiatives on ServiceNow.

Certifications:

Required:

  1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  2. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Desired:

  1. ITIL V3 / ITIL 4 Foundation
  2. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CSM/ITSM preferred)
  3. Micro-Certifications:
  4. Automated Test Framework
  5. Flow Designer
  6. Integration Hub
  7. Virtual Agent

Key Differentiator (Must-Have):

  1. Strong expertise in UI Builder, Service Portal, and custom workspace component development, with proven delivery of modern, scalable, and user-friendly ServiceNow interfaces.

 

Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
