In this role, you will need to be able to adapt quickly to new technologies, applications and environments. You will operate with our current clients on a medium to long-term basis.

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will help our clients building and serving machine learning models. More specifically, the responsibilities include design and implement solutions to serve machine learning models, from traditional ML to Generative AI. The work also involves train, improve, and deploy ML models. You will  write production ready code and serve online, batch, and real time models. Furthermore, you identify, design, and implement process improvements in the machine learning lifecylce: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-design infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. In addition you are passionate to collaborate with Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers and Data Engineers, to integrate all parts of the solution.

You’ll have knowledge and experience of the following:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, MLOps Engineer, or in a similar position
• Strong software engineering background
• Experience deploying machine learning in production
• Experience with experiment tracking, models monitoring, and deployment strategies
• Ability to write production ready code in Python
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and understanding of Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of containers and container orchestration
• Master software engineering best practices and software release cycle
• Solid understanding of Linux and in depth knowledge of at least one cloud provider
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka
• Able to coach others and give technical advice and direction
• Experience building, scheduling and maintaining ML pipelines
• Able to work independently, prioritize multiple stakeholders and tasks, and manage work time effectively
• Master or PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, or related field
• You are proficient in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
