The Java Technical Lead provides technical leadership for backend development teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. The role combines hands-on development with design ownership, mentoring, and delivery accountability across microservices hosted on AWS EKS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead design and development of Java microservices-based solutions.
2. Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
4. Review architecture and design artifacts in collaboration with architects.
5. Ensure effective use of DB2, including data design and performance optimization.
6. Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment on AWS EKS.
7. Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
8. Support production deployments and critical issue resolution.

Required Skills

1. Expert-level Java and Spring Boot development skills.
2. Strong experience with Microservices architecture and API design.
3. Hands-on experience with DB2 databases.
4. Strong working knowledge of AWS, especially EKS and related services.
5. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps practices.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years

Bachelor in Engineering/ Computer Science

Prior experience leading teams or modules.

Knowledge of cloud security and observability tools.

8–12 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills : JAVA, DB2, SQL, API CISL, JSON, KAFKA, SPLUNK, DYNATRACE, INFINISPAN, MongoDB, SAS, ETL, DB2, Postgres, AWS EKS, argoCD, github, Azure, Informatica (IDQ)

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
