Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.
The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
Job Description
We are looking for Data Analyst (scripting) to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts (primarily in Python).
• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline technical and business processes.
• Manage GitHub repositories.
• Monitor automation workflows and quickly address errors or performance issues.
• Collaborate with development, analytics, and operations teams to identify opportunities for automation.
• Create and maintain documentation for scripts, processes, and best practices.
• Contribute to establishing and improving standards for automation and code management.
Tech stack on the project:
• Python, Pandas, Windows Packager, Tkinter, GitHub, Excel
Qualifications
Must have requirements:
• Algorithmic optimization.
• Very good knowledge of Python.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Data processing and Data analytics.
• GitHub experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• EU citizenship.
• Fluent English: at least B2.
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
Nice to have requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

The recruitment process for this position consists of two stages:
• a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
• one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)
Salary range:
UOP: 12 000 -16 000 PLN gross/month.
B2B: 100-140 PLN/h net + vat.
