Keeping our systems running smoothly and optimally will be your goal as our Backup & Storage Engineer. Your days will consist of monitoring of the Backup and Storage infrastructures as well as following up incident and resolution to always serve our business goals. You’ll use your expertise in backup and storage, automation frameworks, virtualization, networking, and security practices to drive digital transformation. Our goal is to build reliable and cost-efficient systems. As a Backup & Storage Engineer, you’ll make it happen by designing, implementing, and supporting scalable environments, streamlining deployment processes and reducing manual interventions.

• Location: Leudelange, Luxembourg
• Contract hours: 40 hours
• Contract type: Permanent OR freelance contract
• Education: Min bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent experience
• Experience: 2-3 years
• Languages: English required and French is an asset

You have knowledge and experience of the following:

• Backup: Commvault and its associated management tools
• SAN: Brocade and storage Hitachi and its associated management tools
• NAS: NetApp ONTAP storage arrays (AFFxxxx) and StorageGrid (SG6xxx) and its associated management tools, DELL EMC Isilon/PowerScale and its associated management tools
• Disaster Recovery exercise
• Knowledge of Perl or Python or Ansible scripts is considered a plus
• Knowledge of Object storage (S3 protocol) is considered a plus
• Knowledge of Superna Eyeglass DR is considered a plus
