Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as CloudFormation, CDK (using any programming language) and ECS using Fargate.
• Serverless Framework (SQS, AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
• Solid understanding of compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless services on AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and observability.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
• High-level understanding of Node.js ecosystem

AWS Cloud Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage cloud-native solutions using AWS services.
• Develop and deploy applications leveraging services such as EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFront, Route 53, and ALB/NLB.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation, CDK, and Serverless Framework.
• Implement and manage IAM roles, VPCs, subnets, and security groups for secure access control.
• Configure CloudWatch for monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and resolve performance, availability, or networking issues.

DevOps Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Automate build, release, and deployment processes for faster software delivery.
• Manage infrastructure version control and enforce GitOps practices where applicable.
• Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (ECS, or Kubernetes).
• Drive cost optimization by monitoring cloud spend and leveraging savings plans, spot instances, and right-sizing strategies.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies are in place.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript for AWS CDK.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
