At Sopra Steria, we design and operate secure, high‑performance digital platforms for large organisations. We are looking for a Unix/Linux DevOps Engineer with strong Java expertise to support and optimise enterprise Atlassian Jira & Confluence environments.
Your mission
- Administer and optimise RHEL-based Linux servers
- Support Java applications (Jira/Confluence) on Tomcat
- Perform JVM tuning, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting
- Manage Apache HTTPD, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies and integrations
- Ensure security, reliability, and compliance of critical platforms
- Collaborate with Atlassian admins, DevOps, and security teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in Unix/Linux (RHEL) administration
- Strong expertise in Java, JVM tuning, Tomcat
- Solid knowledge of Apache, PostgreSQL, scripting (Bash/Python)
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and security best practices
- Structured, proactive, and team‑oriented mindset
- Fluent in English.
