• Role: UFT Tester
• Skills: UFT, VB script, STLC
• Good to have: ALM/ QC, Jenkins
• Experience: 3 - 8 years
• Location: Noida only

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT 
2. Strong experience with data-driven testing using Excel (e.g., DataTable operations, parameterization) 
3. Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries for validation 
4. Create and maintain object repositories and function libraries in UFT 
5. Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with the development team for resolution 
6. Optimize and refactor test scripts for performance and reusability. 
7. Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and automation strategy 
8. Familiarity with descriptive programming in UFT 
9. Ability to debug and troubleshoot automation script failures

Mandatory Skills

1. Hands-on experience with UFT/QTP automation scripting 
2. Strong knowledge of VBScript (UFT scripting language) 
3. Experience in data-driven testing using Excel/DataTables 
4. Understanding of object repository, function libraries, and descriptive programming 
5. Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., ALM/QC) 
6. Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and test methodologies

Good to Have Skills: 

1. Knowledge of version control tools like Git 
2. Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
3. Basic knowledge of API testing 
4. Ability to build or enhance UFT automation frameworks
5. Familiarity with integration of UFT with ALM
