Job Description

  • Role: SharePoint Administrator
  • Skillset: SharePoint, MS Teams, Powershell Scripting, O365 - Power Automate
  • Experience: 4-6 years
  • Location: Noida and Chennai

Role Overview

  1. Second line Teams and SharePoint Online support engineer
  2. To provide second line support and technical implementation: installation, maintenance, performance optimization

Key Responsibilities

  1. Handling of Teams/SharePoint Online incidents and requests escalated by L1 teams.
  2. Work on projects to develop and improve the services provided by the team
  3. Assist the team with maintenance and troubleshooting of the supported environments
  4. Monitoring, analysis and diagnostics of environment alerts and warnings
  5. Ensure the security and integrity of the supported environments
  6. Production and development of documentation and support guides.
  7. Monitor developments by Microsoft and in the wider IT industry, to advise where improvements can be made

Essential Skills

  1. Good verbal and written English communication skills
  2. Experience of Office365 administration, in particular Teams and SharePoint Online
  3. General awareness of Windows servers and other IT technologies such as networking, AD, etc.
  4. Some experience of scripting, preferably against AD, Office 365 and Windows servers
  5. Good knowledge of IT security principles and how they should be implemented
  6. Experience within a customer support environment.
  7. Problem solving skills, persisting until a resolution is found
  8. A committed team player with the desire to help colleagues.
  9. Able to contribute to meetings and express opinions in a professional manner.
  10. Documentation skills, with the ability to produce documents for use by an end user, as well as operational procedure documentation for use by service desk personnel.

 Additional Skills

  1. Experience in other Office 365 technologies such as Power Automate.
