We work with over 50 government departments and 60 public agencies across Europe, and we are looking for an Account Manager to strengthen and grow our presence in Luxembourg.
Your Role
As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a key role in developing and managing existing client accounts, with a primary focus on large deals and result-based contracts for the European Institutions.
You will also build your sales strategy to increase our footprint in EU Market in Luxembourg, with support of a Director and a dedicated delivery team for EU Market in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Highly contributing to the EU sales strategy for Sopra Steria Luxembourg with a focus on up-sell/cross-sell on existing accounts and net new business on new accounts in the territory
- Building strong account mapping and a detailed account plan for the key accounts in your territory
- Managing the full sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities and qualifying client needs to managing request processes, supporting bid team in answering to call for tenders, securing contracts, and ensuring successful project delivery
- Managing Senior Executive technology discussions and developing a roadmap of collaboration with your customers (solution selling)
- Developing and expanding existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities within European Institutions in Luxembourg
- Building and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and added value
- Supporting delivery throughout its lifecycle, ensuring alignment with partners and customers
- Acting as a key interface between clients, program managers, and delivery teams to ensure smooth operations and high-quality delivery
- Acting as a key interface with external partners: consortium partners and/or technology partners (vendors)
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Commercial Engineering, or equivalent)
- 8–10 years of proven experience in large accounts management, business development, ideally within a Public Sector or European Institutions environment
- Strong understanding of IT delivery & consulting services, particularly in a results-based context
- Strong knowledge of long sales cycles
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
- Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments
- Proactive, resilient, and results-driven mindset
- Fluent English & French, mandatory. Additional European languages are considered a strong asset
