Role Requirement - looking for a talented Main Frame Production Support Expert to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Job Control Language (JCL) and mainframe development, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain batch processing jobs and schedule them using Control M. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our mainframe operations.

Mandatory Key Skills-

• JCL Development and Scripting - Mandatory - Code and maintain JCL scripts for batch processing jobs on systems. Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to gather requirements and understand processing needs. Monitor and troubleshoot JCL jobs, analyzing job logs and outputs to resolve issues. Optimize JCL for performance and efficiency, implementing best practices and standards. Document JCL processes, job flows, and technical specifications. Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards. Provide support during system upgrades and migrations related to JCL and batch processes. Assist in the development of automated solutions for job scheduling and monitoring. Proven experience in JCL coding and maintenance. Strong knowledge of mainframe environments (e.g., IBM Z/OS) and associated tools. Handled Priority 1 and critical issues related to JCL & Main Frames.
• Control-M Job Scheduling, administration experience not needed - Mandatory -Should have extensive knowledge on Scheduling using Control-M GUI. Good to have knowledge on Control-M components (EM, Server and agents) and it's system parameters.
• Shell Scripting with Linux environment - Mandatory -strong knowledge on LINUX environment. Rich exposure in automation & programming through UNIX shell scripting.Python or any other scripting language is added advantage.
• Microfocus Enterprise Server - Preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of Agile and ITIL processes.

Good to have BMC Control M Admin

Microfocus Certification (Optional)

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
