Job Description

Role Summary

Responsible for managing software license servers, ensuring compliance, and supporting license-related operations across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and maintain license servers and services
  2. Coordinate license file updates and vendor communications
  3. Ensure license compliance and audit readiness
  4. Support license-related incidents and service requests
  5. Document license configurations and maintain inventory

Required Skills & Experience

  1. Experience with DSLS, FlexLM, RLM license technologies
  2. Understanding of license compliance and audit processes
  3. Familiarity with license monitoring tools and reporting
  4. Ability to troubleshoot license service issues across OS platforms

Shared Licensing Responsibilities

  1. License Server Management
  2. Verification & Enrolment of License files & related activities
  3. Install new License service with Licensing technologies like DSLS, FlexLM, RLM
  4. Troubleshoot the licensing service if it is down
  5. Other miscellaneous license-related requests: options file management, vendor port configuration, log data export
  6. Licensing services are running on different OS like RHEL, Windows, Solaris, AIX. People must know activities like logging into Solaris, patching, restarting, troubleshooting on OS logs
  7. Monitoring the licensing services & servers through Nagios XI monitoring solution

 

Total Experience Expected: 02-04 years


Qualifications

BE/MSc/MCA/BCA

Experience working with License management servers ~ 2 years

PLM knowledge is desirable

Linux skills
