Job Description

Responsibilities

Provide technical support: Assist end-users with hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, remote access, or in-person visits.

Install and configure technology: Set up and configure new computers, software, peripherals, and networking equipment for new hires and existing users.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Diagnose system failures, identify root causes, and test solutions for hardware, software, and connectivity problems.

Manage technology resources: Maintain inventories of IT equipment, order necessary supplies, and ensure workstations are functioning correctly.

Perform system updates: Install and upgrade operating systems, software, and device updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

Document and escalate: Record all support requests and solutions in a ticketing system and escalate unresolved or complex problems to specialized teams.

Provide user training: Offer basic training to end-users on computer operation and management to improve efficiency and reduce recurring issues.

 

Skills and Qualifications

Technical proficiency: A strong understanding of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, software applications, and basic networking.

Problem-solving skills: The ability to effectively troubleshoot complex issues, diagnose problems, and find efficient solutions.

Customer service: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally and patiently with clients.

Organizational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and manage technology inventories.

Teamwork and independence: The capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a technical team.

Total Experience Expected: 01-04 years
