Head of Cloud & Technology- Paris/Beirut

SBS works with more than 1,500 banks, building societies and specialized finance providers across more than eighty countries worldwide. We help them to develop, deliver and operationalise their digital transformation strategies. We are a recognized software vendor providing Core Banking solutions to leading financial institutions worldwide. Our product is deployed On Premise at client sites as well as in Managed Services, where we deliver full infrastructure, operations, and application management.

As part of our transformation journey and to reinforce the quality and resilience of our services, we are creating a new strategic leadership role: Head of Cloud & Technology.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will define and lead the technology and cloud strategy across our product line. You will own the performance, scalability, reliability and technical future-proofness of the Product that support both On Premise and Managed Services deployments.

You will work hand in hand with the Head of Engineering (product development) and the Head of Customer Success (Support and run management) to ensure excellence across the full delivery chain.

• Technology & Architecture
  • Define the cloud & infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
  • Design target architectures for hybrid and cloud-native deployments.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and resilience across environments.
• Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead teams in architecture, DevOps, infrastructure management, and operations.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with product and service leadership to align on priorities.
• Execution & Service Quality
  • Ensure platform stability, performance, and availability.
  • Oversee cloud adoption projects, including migrations.
  • Guarantee compliance with banking-grade security, audit, and SLA requirements.

• 10+ years in cloud, infrastructure, and IT operations, with significant leadership experience.
• Proven track record in SaaS, FinTech, software vendor, or managed services environments.
• Deep expertise in Oracle, IBM iSeries (AS/400), Java EE/ IBM WebSphere, Git/GitLab, as well as hybrid/on-premise architectures.
• Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and security.
• Experienced in running mission-critical, regulated environments.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of engaging with both C-level and technical teams.
• Fluent English (French a strong plus).
