Job Description
As a Business Controller, you will be integrated into the Benelux Management Control.
Your mission:
- Review monthly business performance of business line/market, by analyzing different KPI’s and provide insights/details to the business
- Coordinate monthly closing for your dedicated business unit(s)
- Check revenue recognition, WIP, credit notes, provisions, agent-mode
- Challenge business decisions, identify C&R
- Set-up, maintain and review reporting (general & business specific)
- Ad hoc analysis on various topics, such as bonus calculations, bench/holiday follow-up, sales rate initiatives, hiring/attrition analysis, fleet, harmonization, restructuring, business cases, ...
- Automating or improving efficiency of processes
- Monthly variance analysis on P&L of agency, check accuracy and completeness of monthly closing
- Forecasting & budgeting (with support of Business Unit Coordinator(s))
- Educate our organization in Operational Finance & the use of BI/reporting
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Graduated with a Bachelor or Master degree from a university or business school or equivalent, with a specialization in Finance/Economics you have at least 5 years of experience in business control and have an excellent knowledge of Excel.
- You have a taste for analysis and reporting
- You enjoy working in a dynamic team and demonstrate autonomy.
- You have good interpersonal skills and a taste for exchange and communication.
- You speak French and/or Dutch and are fluent in English
