As our Business Architect, you enjoy the challenge of helping leading Sopra Steria customers realize business goals. You know how to connect business requirements with Pega capabilities. Bringing the customer's stakeholders together with our Pega System Architects to realize functionality in an Agile manner and Design Thinking, starting with a Minimum Lovable Product (MLP). This MLP gives the customer insight into the new system and business value delivered right at the start of a project. Together with involved colleagues you know how to set up the right business architecture in which you can divide the customer journey into Microjourneys. Using Design Thinking you know how to define the personas involved and their interaction with the system and map the right channels, interfaces and data. You are instrumental in translating and connecting customer needs and the team you are part of. You bring a healthy dose of curiosity, creativity, guts and humor. You are quickly at home in complex environments and want to continue to develop professionally and personally as a Pega professional. You know how to inspire others and enjoy contributing to the expansion of our practice.

You bring a healthy dose of curiosity, constructive criticism and humor. You are at home in complex environments and want to continue to develop professionally and personally. We work in multidisciplinary High Performance Teams, so you are interested in developing your analytical, technical and Pega skills. You know how to make others aware of the impact of testing and quality assurance. You enjoy contributing to the development of our field and practice. You are a specialist in your field and know how to set up and automate various test types.  

What you bring: 

• A WO/HBO diploma in IT with strongly developed business acumen. 
• At least two years of experience as a Business Architect or similar role and you are ready for the next step in your career. 
• You are Pega Certified Business Architect certified or will obtain this soon. 
• You know how to oversee complex (primary) business processes & the IT landscape. 
• Hands-on experience with mapping business processes and information flows and capturing them in designs, cases and user stories. 
• You know how to translate the impact of (external) developments and think along in improving or inventing new business processes in the context of Pega functionality. 
• Together with domain experts you are able to determine the business needs and customer journey and together with the customer and system architects create a Minimum Lovable Product. 
• You have a passion for the Pega platform and want to keep your knowledge continuously up to date; you closely follow new developments around AI and Process Mining. 
• Methods such as Design Thinking, Value Stream Mapping, Lean and Agile thinking interest you and you like to apply them.

You’ll become a part of a major Tech player in Europe recognised for its consulting, digital services, and software development. On top of that, you’ll join the area RulesMatter! As a young, energetic and active area, we want to prepare our customers for the continuous change that is the order of the day. We do this by housing their primary processes in a rule-based application. We are a full-service area, by which we mean that we own the sourcing required for a project; the preparation and the build and run. The tooling we use is broad; Pega, Oracle Intelligent Advisor, Open Source solutions such as Camunda, Siebel and Robotic Process Automation.    

The area consists of 2 distinctive practices; the "Business Process" practice and the "Technical Business Process Automation" practice.  Within this area, more than 90 professionals work in a logical and appropriate professional practice.
