Job Description
You will join a CCoE team spread throughout India. Depending on the missions entrusted to you, you will be required to evolve within internal Sopra Steria teams in the support of Business Verticals on AWS Expertise throughout the sales process of a Cloud Transformation Project and Project Launch; as well as through services where you are directly integrated into teams delivering the project to the end customer as an AWS Technical Expert.
You will also participate internally in:
-Business management (Co-management of the business pipeline, Contribution to structuring pre-sales, Support for complex delivery issues)
-Skills management with verticals (Support for training and certifications, Help in the recruitment of experienced profiles, capitalization and knowledge sharing, Animation of a technical community)
-Communication, through the writing of articles, blogs, white papers, as well as participation in cloud events We support you in the implementation of the Sopra Steria methodology and associated tools.
Total Experience Expected: 12-15 years
Qualifications
- Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in Application Architecture and Development and 6+ years of experience on cloud technologies
- Proficiency in cloud architecture design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Mandator key skills:
- AWS Solution Architect certifications Professional certification
- Hands-on experience with range of AWS services (EC2 , S3 , EBS , EMP etc. ) and container-based architecture
- Development of solutions ( Java/.Net/ Python) and server-less computing (eg. AWS Lambda , Step Functions).
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes , EKS )
- System security and Cloud network security (VPC , IAM , KMS etc.)
- Design / implementation of DevOps pipelines
- Experience in Automation of DevSecOps approach (Agile & DevOps)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Certifications on other HyperScalers or other Private Cloud are a plus.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration strategies.
- Good interpersonal skills, diplomacy and adaptability. Ability to take discretion and committed sense of customer service are essential

Additional Information
As an AWS Architect, the person would bring expertise around AWS solutions
He/She would support our internal teams in the Business Verticals and our customers in their Cloud strategy and advise them on the architecture choices allowing them to build an information system that respects best practices and to strive for operational excellence, while providing them with advanced support
He/She would design and implement the solutions, covering the entire AWS service catalog, meeting the need expressed by the customer, while guaranteeing security, resilience, performance and optimized cost
He/She would be responsible to design and build the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to regularly deliver business value in the target architecture- You support the development team in the Creation of solutions that take into account the constraints and patterns of the target cloud platform.
