- Performing mechanical assemblies, installations, modifications and structural repairs;
- Collaborating in the system integration of satellites, satellite subsystems and components in the ‘Mechanical Integration’ work area;
- Assembling and integrating mechanical components, subsystems and mechanisms;
- Precision machining and preparation of components and surfaces;
- Performing professional bonding work using specified adhesives;
- Creation and maintenance of integration and test protocols;
- Performance of first-level quality checks;
- Support in the preparation of integration and test procedures and the provision of the necessary drawing documents;
- Collaboration in the preparation and performance of qualification and acceptance tests in the field of mechanical and thermal verification of satellites and satellite subsystems;
- Participation in test campaigns.
As part of the AIT team you will have the following responsibilities:
- Vocational training in Mechanical Engineering;
- Experience of 3 years in Industrial mechanics;
- At least 3 years’ experience in Design engineering;
- Experience in aerospace engineering;
- Strong technical understanding and experience on Development Projects;
- Knowledge of the preparation and implementation of mechanical and thermal environmental tests;
- Basic knowledge of plastics processing and adhesive technology;
- Ability to work in a team, as well as an independent and structured way of working;
- Strong communication skills;
- Detailed functions knowledge of MS Office;
- Fluent English and proficient level of German.
