C# Developer

The Polish branch, as the Global Delivery Center, operates in Katowice since 2007 and has been growing ever since. Currently, our team consists of around 1,000 specialists.

Within the Digital Platform Services department, our teams specialize in areas such as cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup or storage, as well as networking and security. We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.

We are looking for a C# Developer to join the Sopra Steria team for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in a stable, industrial environment within a multinational team (France, Poland, India) supporting a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program includes a wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations.

Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice or Gdańsk, Poland. 

Responsibilities:​
• Develop and maintain C#- based applications
• Collaborate with distributed teams to define requirements and implement software designs
• Deliver high-quality, clean code aligned with performance and security standards
• Participate in testing, debugging, and optimization of modules and services
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and team collaboration

Tech stack on the project:​
• C#
• Vue.js
• AWS: Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS
• CI/CD: GitLab, Jenkins/CloudBees
• Testing: Cypress
• Code Quality: SonarQube

Must have requirements:​
• Solid experience in C# development at least 5 years
• Good understanding of software engineering principles
• English proficiency at B2 level
• Willingness to visit our office in Katowice or Gdańsk and participate in occasional business trips
• Strong communication skills and proactive attitude
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like JIRA

Nice to have requirements:
• Background in distributed, international teams

The recruitment process for this position consists of two stages:
• a short phone call with a recruiter (30 min max)
• one-hour long interview on Teams (with both general and technical questions)

Salary range: 
Senior: UOP: 12 000 -16 000 PLN gross/month;  B2B: 100-140 PLN/h net + vat.
